Legal Opinion Letters for Criminal and Immigration Law

If you are currently facing charges ensure you are protected in both, criminal, and immigration law. We often provide legal opinions to criminal lawyers on the immigration consequences a client may face if charged or convicted of certain criminal or regulatory offences. We can work alongside with your lawyer to reach the best possible outcome for you.

Even if you plead guilty or are found guilty after trial, this may not result in a criminal conviction. This is because there are a variety of sentencing outcomes that are not considered “convictions”. These outcomes would be ideal for anyone concerned about immigration consequences, however they are not always available as an appropriate sentence.

Where such a sentencing outcome is not available and a conviction is registered, triggering criminal inadmissibility, the focus should then turn to protecting the individual’s right of appeal of the deportation order that results from the finding of criminal inadmissibility. Let us help you.
